Terms and Conditions for Tata Indicom's International Internet Roaming access

  1. VSNL through alliance with iPass and its suppliers is providing International Internet Roaming access. The subscriber understands that the service is provided to Indian residents in India and also abroad while they are travelling for the purpose other that for employment and emigration.

  2. VSNL, iPass and its suppliers exercise no control whatsoever on the content of the information passing through their system. By its very nature , the Internet contains offensive or harmful material in some cases under descriptions that have been mislabeled or are otherwise deceptive. We expect that subscriber will use caution - and common sense - in using the Internet.

  3. IPASS AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONIFRINGEMENT. Use of any information obtained via the service is at subscriber's own risk. IPass and its suppliers specifically deny any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through their services. IPass and its suppliers also do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Internet or to subscriber's home account.

  4. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to subscriber. This warranty gives subscriber specific legal rights and subscriber may also have other legal rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

  5. IN NO EVENT SHALL Ipass OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR INTERRUPTED COMMUNICATIONS, LOST DATA OR LOST PROFITS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE. Some states do not allow the limitation of liability, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to subscriber.

  6. Subscriber shall not use the services to take any actions or make any statements that: (a) infringe on any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy; (b) violate any applicable law, statue, ordinance or regulation (Including without limitation those regarding export control); (c) are defamatory, trade libelous or unlawfully threatening; (d) are pornographic or obscene; (e) violate any laws regarding unfair competition, anti discrimination or false advertising or (f) result in the distribution of viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other similar harmful or deleterious programming routines. Subscriber may not use the services to distribute any bulk unsolicited emails or otherwise cause an excessive or disproportionate load on iPass suppliers' infrastructure.

  7. Subscriber may not transfer or share subscriber's account with anyone. Subscriber may not disclose subscriber's password to any third parties.

  8. 8) Although privacy issues are very important to iPass and its suppliers, given the current regulatory and technical environment subscriber should not have an expectation of privacy in subscriber's online activities.

  9. Customers are required to submit a photocopy of their passport and a copy of their Telephone bill to activate the International Roaming Service. The same should be attached with the Application form at the time of submission.

I/We have carefully read the terms and conditions of the agreement for Tata Indicom's International Internet Roaming access and agree to abide the same.
