Ans.:The Unlimited offering gives you the freedom to surf for as many hours in a day as you want, by deducting a nominal Internet Access fee per day, and also allows you to use all the value added features of Tata Indicom Total Internet.

Depending on the Unlimited plan you purchase, a certain value would be credited to your account, which you can use for accessing any of the services on Tata Indicom Total Internet. You can choose to surf the Internet for Unlimited hours for your entire validity period, or use the value added services and pay as per usage, over and above the rate per day for Unlimited Internet access.

There is a rate per hour associated with each Unlimited pack, which will get deducted from your account at 00:00 hrs each day. You will be able to enjoy Unlimited Dial Up access per day till the validity of your Unlimited pack at the cost of the rate per day of your plan. Other value added services i.e. Net Telephony, Additional Mail Space and Additional E Mail IDs will be billed as per actuals and the usage amount will be deducted from your account.

Your Unlimited plan will expire either due to value or due to validity, whichever is earlier.

Ans.: No. There is no restriction on the number of hours which you would be able to access per day on your Unlimited pack. You would able to have Unlimited Dial Up Internet access, till the validity or value of your pack expires (whichever is earlier).

Ans.: The validities of the Unlimited packs have been configured as 30 days, 90 days, 180 days and 360 days. Hence, your Unlimited account would be valid till the above mentioned days, depending on the pack you purchase, unless the value in your Unlimited account gets exhausted due to usage of value added services.

Ans.: You would at any time (during the validity period of your Unlimited plan), require to have a balance equal to or greater than the rate per day of your Unlimited plan.
For example, if you are an Unlimited 30 customer, you can use the account value of Rs. 300 for Unlimited Dial Up access till the validity of 30 days. But, if your account value at 00:00 hrs in any day is less than Rs. 10 (the rate per day of the Unlimited 30 plan), due to usage of Net Telephony or subscription to Additional Mail Space/E Mail ID services, your account will become inactive. You willneed to renew your Unlimited plan to start accessing Total Internet .

Ans.: If you have purchased an Unlimited 30 pack of Total Internet, following are the pack details:
a. Value of the pack: Rs. 300
b. Validity of the pack: 30 days
c. Rate per day of the pack: Rs. 10

Note: The amount of Rs. 10 per day would continue to get debited from your account from the date of registration, irrespective of usage.

If you have used your Unlimited account for the first 10 days only for Dial Up Internet access, your account status would be as follows, at 00:00 Hrs on the 11th day:

a. Amount deducted: Rs. 100
b. Balance value in the account: Rs. 200
c. Balance validity of the account: 20 days

If for the next 10 days you use 2 minutes of Net Telephony calls per day to USA, following would be your account status, at 00:00 Hrs on the 21st day:

a. Amount deducted for Dial Up Internet access: Rs. 200
b. Usage amount deducted for Net Telephony @ Rs. 2.99 per minute: 59.80
c. Balance value in the account: Rs. 40.20
d. Balance validity of the account : 10 days

If for the next 4 days, you use your account only for Dial Up Internet access, following will the account status, at 00:00 Hrs on the 24th Day:

a. Amount deducted for Dial Up Internet access: Rs. 240
b. Usage amount deducted for Net Telephony @ Rs. 2.99 per minute: 59.80
c. Balance value in the account: Rs. 0.20
d. Balance validity of the account: 6 days

Even though you have 6 days of balance validity left in your account, the balance value in your account is Rs. 0.20, which is lesser than the rate per day of Unlimited 30, i.e. Rs. 10.

Hence, your account will become inactive on the 24th Day of the month and you will need to renew it to access to the Total Internet services.

Ans.: Yes. The Unlimited renewal plans can be used to renew any of the Tata Indicom Total Internet hourly plans or Unlimited plans. An anticipatory renewal option will be given for all renewals for a Hourly pack with an Unlimited pack. Anticipatory renewals mean that the renewals done for any of the hourly packs with an Unlimited plan would come into effect, post the validity/value expiry of your hourly plan.

Ans.: Yes. You will be able to renew any of the Unlimited fresh plans with a Total Internet hourly renewal plan. An anticipatory renewal option will be given for all renewals for an Unlimited pack with an Hourly pack. Anticipatory renewals mean that the renewals done for any of the Unlimited packs with an hourly plan would come into effect, post the validity/value expiry of your Unlimited plan.

Ans.: No. All the existing value added services available on the hourly plans of Total Internet are available on Unlimited packs also. There is no separate process for subscribing to these services on an Unlimited plan. All the current processes for activating value added services on Total Internet hourly plans remain the same for Unlimited plans.

Ans.: Yes. You will be able to activate Global Roaming on Unlimited packs of 3 months validity and above. The process is the same as the current one - you need to pay a one time fee of Rs. 1102 (inclusive of service tax), and the bills of usage will be posted on the web for payments. We are in the process of including Global Roaming in the Prepaid module, till which time it will continue to remain a postpaid service.

Ans.: If you had registered using a Dishnet Dial Postpaid plan, on your validity expiry you can renew with any of the Unlimited plans and retain your eth.net E Mail ID. If you had registered using a Dishnet Unlimited plan, you will be able to renew your account with a Total Internet Unlimited plan before or after your validity expires. If you renew your Dishnet Unlimited plan before the validity expiry, you will be given an Anticipatory renewal option with an Unlimited renewal pack. Anticipatory renewal means that the Total Internet Unlimited renewal plan will come into effect post the validity expiry of your Dishnet Unlimited plan.

Ans.: Yes. All the Unlimited plans listed above will be available for purchase Online and from the ICICI Bank ATM outlets, which are retailing the Total Internet Hourly packs currently.

Ans.: No. Simultaneous/Multiple logins are not possible using your Total Internet Unlimited account. The feature is however available on your Total Internet Hourly packs.
