Troubleshooting

Q1. Why don't I have any sound?

Ans.:
  1. Are your speakers turned on?
  2. Is the volume in your control panel turned up? To do so, open the full volume control panel from the speaker in the system bar in the bottom right corner of your screen. You will need to double-click on the speaker to open the full panel. Raise the volume of the wave files or uncheck "mute" if that is the case. This should restore your audio, and you should then hear the music!
  3. You may be attempting to connect to us from behind a firewall. If this is the case, you need to contact your Systems Administrator to adjust your Windows Media player proxy settings.
  4. You will not get any sound while the media player is displaying a "waiting" or "buffering" message in the status bar. The duration on this period is more with slower connections.
  5. Your sound card may not be configured or enabled. Please check the sound card settings.
  6. Still don't have any sound? Send detailed information - including operating system, browser type and version number to us

Q2. I have also downloaded and installed another media player (RealPlayer, etc). Could that be the problem with my sound?

Ans.: You should not face any problems if you also have another player loaded in addition to the Windows media player. You should not face any difficulties as long as you do not run two players at the same time. This might result in a system conflict and you’re not getting any sound. However it is recommended that you make Windows Media Player the default player to play .wmv files from our site

Q3. What can I do to improve the sound quality?

Ans.: The single biggest factor in improving the sound quality of Divine Music is to improve the quality of the speakers and the sound card attached to your computer.

Q4. I updated to the latest Windows Media Player Version, why can't I connect now?

Ans.: Upgrading the Windows media player typically does not overwrite the configuration (e.g. - proxy settings etc.) However in a few cases where an older version is uninstalled completely and a newer version is then installed, it will lose the connection and proxy settings. If you have done so, you will need to check the settings and configuration.

Q5. What happens if I switch off cookies on my computer?

Ans.: You need to have cookies enabled within your browser. It is recommended that you add the site to your list of ‘Trusted’ sites in the browser, with medium to lowered Security settings enabled.
