FAQs >> Postpaid Dialup
Migration of existing customers
Q1. What are the category of existing VSNL Dial Up customers who would be allowed to migrate to the Postpaid service, carrying forward the same User ID?
Ans.:
You would need to be an active or inactive (in the 2 months grace period) customer of Tata Indicom Total Internet, when the filled up Facilitation Form is received at our end for migration. The remaining customers would be considered as a new customer signing up for the Postpaid Dial Up service. The Facilitation Form would ask you for the existing VSNL User ID for migrating the service to Postpaid. The following types of customers would not be eligible for migration to Postpaid Dial Up:
- Old @ eth.net customers
- vsnl.in Unlimited customers
- Customers having an anticipatory renewal plan in queue
Note: Customers in all these three types would need to renew with any Total Internet renewal plan or wait for the anticipatory renewal plan to come into effect for subscribing to Postpaid Dial Up.
Q2. How would I come to know about the Migration details of my plan?
Ans.: On migration to Postpaid, an E-Mailer would be sent to the VSNL E-Mail ID and the alternate E-Mail ID specified by you. Also you can check the same on the VSNL website by putting your Facilitation Form number and the first four digits of the Credit Card number.
