Q1. What is this service about?
Ans.:iPerform is an internet based learning solution for ICSE and CSBE students studying in Class 1 right up to Class 10. The service has a bank of animations and interactive simulations, exercises for understanding based on concepts that you learn in school. Interactive simulations and extensive exercises help you prepare for every test or examination.
Q2. How do I use this service?
Ans.: Currently the service is offered to Dialup Customers only:
You can access the iPerform website directly. Navigating to the site is by simply clicking on prominently visible iPerform links on the Tata Indicom Total Internet portal itself. This will lead you to a Tata Indicom- iPerform co-branded page.
On the iPerform website, a screen will prompt you to log in with your usual username and password.
A page that loads next will list the various Classes that this service covers. The subjects have been listed class-wise for your convenience.
Click on the ‘See Demo' button that appears under any subject of your choice. To see a demo
If you are satisfied with the demo and the courses available under the subject you have chosen, click on the ‘Buy' button, select a plan of your choice and enter your password to confirm your purchase.
You can now use the ‘iPerform' service for the validity period of your plan.
Q3. Which subjects are covered by this service?
Ans.: For Classes 1-3, it covers EVS & learning games. For classes 4-8, it covers Science, Social Studies and Math. For Classes 9-10, it covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math.
Q4. What all does it cover?
Ans.: For primary classes, i Perform has a lot of interesting animations and learning games, which shall make understanding of concepts fun and interesting. For Classes 4-10, it has animations and interactive simulations / exercise for concept understanding and e-tests for self-evaluation. Besides, you can enrich your knowledge through projects, assignments and digital library.
Q5. What is the validity period of the plans? How are they priced?
Ans.:
The plans bundle subjects that are offered under any given class. You can choose from monthly, quarterly or half yearly plans.
If you opt for a monthly plan, you pay Rs. 75 and can access all the courses for a period of one month.
If you opt for a quarterly plan, you pay Rs. 225 and can access all the courses for a period of three months.
If you opt for a half yearly plan, you pay Rs. 450 and can access all the courses for a period of six months.
Q6. What plug-ins or software do I require to use this service?

Q7. I have enrolled for a class. How do I view the courses I can take?
Ans.:
Your ‘User Home Page' displays a list of courses available for your class on the top navigation bar.
Click on ‘Subject' on the top bar, the list of chapters available under the subject will appear in the table, selected the Chapter from the Index.
Click on any ‘Chapter' to get a list of topics under that chapter.
Click on any topic to view the animated lesson in the popup window.
It could take anywhere between 30 seconds to 2 minutes for any animated lesson to load depending upon your bandwidth and the file size of the animated lesson.
Once the loader indicates 100%, the animated lesson will begin.
Q8. I have enrolled for a class. How do I view the courses I can take?
Ans.: Visual interactive content has two primary characteristics:
- Rich multimedia animations , which help students better visualise abstract concepts which are difficult to understand using static images.
- Interactive simulations , using which students can vary the parameters and see for themselves the effect of that change on a real-time basis: and then use this information to draw new conclusions.
Q9. How often is new content added on iPerform?
Ans.: New learning content is added to iPerform once every week, across all classes and subjects.
Q10. How often should I use iPerform?
Ans.: iPerform can be used in the following three scenarios :
- For regular revision : one hour per week.
- For help while doing homework or projects.
- For last day exam preparation.
Q11. I am looking for some sample papers. Do you have any?
Ans.: iPerform has a large collection of Sample questions organised at the topic level. That is against each topic, you can see a list of sample questions along with their answers. In addition, you can also search for sample questions on the basis of keywords.
