    1. What is the concept behind Tata Indicom's 'Total Internet' package?
    2. I have been using Tata Communications Internet Services Limited's services for 3 years now. Will 'Total Internet' bring any change in the features and charges that I currently avail?
    3. Are there any additional charges for getting Net Telephony activated on my account?
    4. I have purchased 1 MB of extra space for my mailbox @ Rs. X per month. Will this amount be debited from my account every month?
    5. When I buy the new "Total Internet" package will I have to register separately for Internet Access, Net telephony and Email?
    6. Can I have separate passwords for different services?
    7. I have Rs. XYZ left in my account. What are the various services that I can use for the available amount?
    8. Are previously provided free services such as Auto mail reply/forward, Crakblok, and so on, going to be chargeable now?

    16. I purchased 2 MB of extra mailbox space @ Rs.X. But later (after 2 days) having realized that I only require 1 MB, deleted 1 MB. Will I get my Rs. X back?
    1. What is the concept behind Tata Indicom's 'Total Internet' package?
      Currently you would be buying two different packs, one for internet access and another for net telephony. This involves investing in two different packs and both the values are independent of one another. For the first time in India, we are introducing a value pack which can be used to acces a wide range of services such as Internet access, net telephony and mailing service. This will result in you buying a single pack and using it across any of these services offered.
      You also have an option where in you can use all the value of the pack for net telephony alone or just use it up for internet access.
      This works on the similar principle as pre-paid mobile cards, where you can use the amount to either make a local call, or a long distance call or just use it send SMS. The appropriate amount will be debited from your account.

    2. I have been using Tata Communications Internet Services Limited's services for 3 years now. Will 'Total Internet' bring any change in the features and charges that I currently avail?
      Your current Tata Indicom Internet Access has now become Tata Indicom Total Internet. That means that you can also enjoy a host of others services like Net Telephony, enhanced email service and much more.
      Your Tata Indicom Internet Access account becomes a multi-utility account with multiple services on it.

    3. Are there any additional charges for getting Net Telephony activated on my account?
      No, the Net Telephony service is activated on your internet access account free of charge; only the applicable call charges would need to be paid for using Net telephony.

    4. I have purchased 1 MB of extra space for my mailbox @ Rs. X per month. Will this amount be debited from my account every month?
      We are currently charging Rs X per MB per month, whenever you avail this option the amount will be debited from your account. The amount will be debited every month till you un-subscribe to the additional mail box space. The amount is not Pro-rata.

    5. When I buy the new "Total Internet" package will I have to register separately for Internet Access, Net telephony and Email?
      No, there is one combined registration for all the services. You will be able to use same User Name across the services. You can choose to have different passwords for Internet Access and Net Telephony, if you want.

    6. Can I have separate passwords for different services?
      Yes. When you register you will get one common password. Post registration, you can log into "My Account" and choose different passwords for internet access and net telephony. Your email password will be same as your internet access password. But you cannot change your username for any of the services.

    7. I have Rs. XYZ left in my account. What are the various services that I can use for the available amount?
      At any given point of time, you can avail any of the services internet access, net telephony or additional features like free mail box space or additional email id.
      However if your balance is substantially low, the Net Telephony will be authorized based on the rate to the dialed country or if your balance is lower than the amount required to subscriber to additional mail box size or email id then you will not be in a position to avail the services.

    8. Are previously provided free services such as Auto mail reply/forward, Crakblok, and so on, going to be chargeable now?
      Auto mail forward and reply will not be chargeable currently. These are value added services which we offer as complementary.

    9. Does this mean that I can now go online and pay for Global Roaming subscription and its bills without having to visit the local Tata Communications Internet Services Limited office?
      No, we are in the process of integrating our global roaming systems also such that your global roaming service will become a pre-paid service like other services offered as Total Internet.

    10. I connected to the Internet and also simultaneously used Net Telephony services for 30 minutes. What are the charges applicable?
      Net Telephony is call dependent that is; it is dependent on the destination called and the duration talked. The billing pulse is as per your plan. Internet Access charges are calculated on rate per hour and charged on actual seconds of usage.

      To summarise the following charges are applicable:
      • Net Telephony Tariff - by Tata Indicom from Tata Communications Internet Services Limited
        o Rate per minute to the destination country.
        o Charged at 60 second pulse currently.

        Internet Access charge - by your ISP or by Tata Indicom from Tata Communications Internet Services Limited if that is your ISP
        o Rate per hour as selected.
        o Charged at 60 second billing pulse.

        PSTN charge for local ISP connectivity - by your local BSO
        o As per the billing pulse of the BSO.

    11. Can I choose to buy ONLY either an e-mail address/Net Telephony package/Internet connection separately without having to buy the whole package of 'Total Internet'?
      The Tata Indicom Total Internet Pack is an integrated pack of all the service put in one.
      You have an option where in you can use all the value of the pack for net telephony alone or just use it up for internet access.
      You as the customer have the choice to use it what ever way you want.

    12. I have been using an Additional E-mail ID along with my Internet connection. Can I renew it using the amount available in my 'Total Internet' account?
      Yes, Your Internet connection is now becomes Total Internet.
      You have an option where in you can use all the value of the pack for net telephony alone or just use it up for internet access or buy additional mail box size or buy additional email ids.
      You as the customer have the choice to use it what ever way you want.

    13. I purchased an Internet account when I did not know that I could buy a 'Total Internet' package at the same rate. Can I ask your reseller to exchange the same for me?
      The current/old Tata Indicom internet account has now become Tata Indicom Total Internet. By default all the existing subscribers are enabled with the Net Telephony access on the same id. However you may have to download the Softphone to make calls from our site www.tataindicomtotalinternet.in
      All facilities/features are available for all the existing subscribers as well as the new subscribers and hence you don't need to bother to exchange the pack.

    14. I have paid an amount foradditional e-mail ID that I purchased recently. Will this E-mail ID remain active even after my Internet account expires?
      The additional email id you had purchased is valid for one year subject to your primary internet account being valid during that period. If your primary internet account expires during the period then your email id also expires.

    15. Do my Internet connection charges remain the same post introduction of 'total Internet'?
      Internet connection charges remain as before depending on what type of pack you had bought or renewed with.

    16. I purchased 2 MB of extra mailbox space @ Rs.X. But later (after 2 days) having realized that I only require 1 MB, deleted 1 MB. Will I get my Rs. X back?
      The amount for additional mail box size and additional mail id charged is for one month. It is debited to your account once 30 days, i.e. before the start of the 3 day period. If you un-subscribe to them you will not be credited back with the amount. The amount charged is not pro-rata.
